Product description

Gelato Ice Cream With Chunks Of White Choco… Double Scoops, Anyone?

Combining your favourite ice cream with the matchless flavour of white chocolate – sounds like a brilliant idea, don’t you agree? Well, you’ll be pleased to know that our Chocolato Homegrown cannabis seeds are just that: White Choco X Gelato genetics make for a smooth and sweet match made not in heaven, but right here in the heart of Amsterdam.

Chocolato Homegrown Cannabis Seeds

In the Amsterdam Genetics Homegrown sees range, you’ll find the ultimate Dutch cannabis strains crossbred with novel and established smash hits from overseas. You’ll understand that it was only a matter of time before we simply had to try some Cali Bay Area-bred Gelato genes (Sherbert X Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies). Once we got our hands on this hard-to-find yet award-winning strain, we crossed its near-perfect indica-sativa equilibrium with the equally balanced genes of our White Choco seeds. The result is a 60% indica, 40% sativa hybrid marvel of taste that brings growing tricky gelato genetics within reach of any grower with modest experience.

Effects

Chocolato is a powerful strain with quite an impact, but her near-equal measures of the sativa and indica range of effects manage to keep her puissance sophisticated nonetheless. Homegrown Chocolato hits fast, mixing body blows with jabs to the face like the prize fighter she is. That’s where you’ll notice she divides her attentions equally between the brain and the physique. Don’t expect Chocolato to pull any punches, though; at 24% THC, this can officially be labelled a full-contact female heavyweight champion. She’s a sporty type nonetheless, because she will work hard to make you feel at ease. That’s different from inactive, mind you: creativity and productivity stay intact while a distinctly ‘floaty’ sensation takes hold. Chocolato has long-lasting, uplifting potential to match her impressive genetic heritage.

Medical Potential

People struggling with tiredness and chronic fatigue report positive results with Chocolato flowers. This baby sports a fine terpene profile rich in humulene, myrcene and caryophyllene, which add some subtle zing to the effects and deepen their intensity. That makes Chocolato a great option for mood elevation, too. Oh come on, admit it: you were expecting a bit of depression relief from a recipe based on chocolate mixed with ice cream!

Flavour & Aroma

Sweetness is the dominant impression Chocolato leaves behind, but just when you think you appreciate the taste, you start to notice the delicate cacao and fruit aromas backing up that sweetness. This is a wide spectrum of different flavours to enjoy in one single strain: if you think you’ve seen, grown, and tasted them all, we dare you to give this girl a try and admit your horizon just got broader.

Grow Info

Chocolato Homegrown feminized seeds are decidedly easier to cultivate than her infamous Gelato predecessor. A nice, speedy growth phase is followed by an 8 to 10-week flowering period, keeping her nicely within the limits of viable outdoor projects even in more northernly climates. Indoor growers will appreciate her tendency to stay small and stocky, usually ranging between 50 and 100 cm tops. Plant structure is robust and sturdy, with thick main colas tightly encircled by side buds on strong lateral branches.

Out in the wild, maximum height doubles to about two metres. Purple phenotypes are not uncommon, especially if cooler conditions promote anthocyanin development in the leaves during vegetation. That will be the least of your concerns once she starts to approach harvest time, however. Instead, you’ll be wondering where to dry and store those 400 to 500 grams of bulging buds; plus, you’ll wish you’d anticipated the gloriously cloying scent these colas keep spreading. Once you start raking in the crop, proper drying and curing will leave you with a harvest of gorgeous, fat, dense Chocolato nugs that’ll keep you going loco for that choco for months to come.
